GlobeTrot is the perfect way to explore the world right from your iPad. This highly interactive app allows you to view the globe in geopolitical, satellite and terrain views. You can spin the globe by swiping it with your finger. You can also use auto-rotate or the accelerometer to spin the globe. You can tap the clouds icon to give a realistic look to your iPad globe.
Also, GlobeTrot is a great way to learn about the world around you. If you double tap on a country then you will get all kinds of cool information about the country including:
- See the national FLAG fluttering in the wind
- Hear a snippet of the national ANTHEM
- See a MAP of the country with major cities
- Read KEY FACTS and a description of the country
- Rotate a cube with country PHOTOS (tap cube for captions)
- Rotate the country's COIN & BANKNOTE
