ASCII art is a graphic design technique that uses computers for presentation and consists of pictures pieced together from the 95 printable characters defined by the ASCII Standard. ASCII photos are created with a text editor and requires careful, painstaking positioning of characters to create a high-quality image.
ASCII Booth lets you generate a ASCII character based replica of any photo. The app analyzes all the colors, shades and textures of your photo and creates the same photo using only type-face characters, numbers and punctuation! Use the photo for whatever you want. Makes a great profile picture!
