The US Air Force Fighter Clock App displays historic active duty and prototype US Air Force Fighters from 1950 to the present day. We've searched public domain government photo archives and selected 140 full color pictures taken by Air Force photographers around the world. The Mustang, Twin Mustang, Shooting Star, Thunder Jet, Sabre, Voodoo, Super Sabre, Freedom Fighter, Delta Dagger, Starfighter, Thud, F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-22 Raptor and more are captured in the air and on the ground.
App Preferences available in Settings
- Military Time
Choose Military 24 hour or Civilian 12 hour clock.
- Picture Looping
Automatically start the pictures over from the beginning or stop at the end.
- Delay Between Pictures
Control the delay before switching to the next picture. The default is 25 seconds.
- Auto Start
Automatically start the slide show when you launch the app.
- Screen Sleep Mode
Turn off your device's auto screen sleep.
- Battery Charge Level
Display your battery's charge level. Great for those who recharge their device while using this app.
Future releases will include more user options to control picture display and additional photos as we continue to look for more exciting and interesting pictures of historical active duty and prototype US Air Force fighters.

Forty Eight new, exciting pics including aircraft maintenance and air to air refueling scenes. Also, one new aircraft - the X-35. This brings the total number of pics to 140.
A new user preference is available - Battery Charge Level. Several users have asked for the ability to see battery charge while they're recharging. This new feature is turned off by default. Go to Settings -> Fighters 1950+ to enable. It's the last choice in the list.
