VectorMaps Baghdad is an offline map viewer for OpenStreetMap data covering the Iraqi capital Baghdad and surrounding areas.
*NOTE* Whilst OpenStreetMap data has much detail on the layout of the city, there are few road names in the database. Visit www.openstreetmap.org to learn more about the project, including how to contribute detail such as street names. This App may be occasionally updated to reflect increasing detail in the database.
Features include:
✦ Vector based rendering
✦ Configurable rendering that allows you to highlight different views such as road, rail or canal networks
✦ Universal app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad
✦ Location aware on supported devices
✦ Offline storage - all mapping data is contained within the app - download and go
✦ Offline searchable gazetter
This App uses data from OpenStreetMap, a community sourced open map. It is expected that this App will occasionally be updated to follow updates to OSM.
