AM1370 WVLY is a locally-owned talk radio station serving the Moundsville/Wheeling West Virginia area with community based programming.
Anchored by Howard Monroe and the Morning Show in AM drive and The Ohio Valley Afternoon News in PM drive, programming focuses on local news, useful information and friendly conversation. Station owner and morning show host Howard Monroe has been a fixture in local media for over 30 years and has been named 3 times as “One of the 100 Most Important Talk Hosts in America” by Talkers magazine. WVLY talk hosts decline the traditional “left/right, I’m right/you’re wrong” shouting matches of much of talk radio and instead focus on honest analysis of issues (local, regional, and national) as well as discussion of issues that affect listener’s daily lives.
CNN, The Ohio News Network, and West Virginia’s MetroNews as well as the local “Ohio Valley Newscenter” provide updates throughout the day.
