Eduardo Fortes was born in Pouso Alegre, in 1982. He graduated from the Law School of Mines and South is a businessman, director of a scholl language. Musician and composer, turned also to the literature, presenting its texts in a column of a weekly newspaper. Today, Eduardo Fortes occupies chair number 12 in Pousoalegrense Academy of Letters.

The book is the realization of a project approved by the Law for the Encouragement of Culture of the city of Pouso Alegre, in the year 2009.
