Transform your iPhone/iPod touch into a "wireless remote control" for Symbolic Sound’s Kyma X Paca, Pacarana or Capybara sound design system!

vKi's controls are optimized for "one-hand" operation, affording you new mobility options when using Kyma. Adjust a Kyma setting from anywhere in your studio, even the next room. Control Kyma sound settings with one hand while playing the sound from a keyboard, drum pad, or other controller using the other hand. Liberate your Kyma sound "tweaking" from the tyranny of mouse and computer screen!

vKi is a member of Harmony Systems' family of "v" applications that expand the controller options for Kyma. It uses Wi-Fi and "Midi over OSC" to communicate with Kyma:

* For Paca(rana) systems, no computer "agent" programs, drivers, or utilities are needed, and it can be used with any computer and OS supported by Kyma.
* For Capybara 320 owners: Delora Software's KymaConnect or free CapyLink OSX applications allows vKi to be used with your Kyma system. See www.delora.com for more details.

REQUIREMENTS

* iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 5.1 or higher
* EITHER Symbolic Sound Kyma x.82 (or higher) with Paca or Pacarana sound design engine running latest firmware + Wi-Fi access to same network Paca(rana) is connected
* OR Symbolic Sound Kyma x.82 (or higher) with Capybara 320 sound design engine + Delora CapyLink or KymaConnect OSX application (see www.delora.com for requirements) + MIDI Connection between Mac and Capybara

vKi FEATURES

* Manipulate and set Kyma sound parameters through faders and "rotary-faders" optimized for touch-screen control
* Control parameters with normal or fine adjustment mode
* Browse or load-in Kyma sound snapshots
* Link up to 16 user selected Kyma controls with faders on vKi's "Learn" screen
* Supports Kyma's maximum 32 toggle switch buttons
* Adjust Kyma’s master volume or mute all sound
* Supports systems with one or multiple Paca(rana)s
* Supports systems with one or multiple Capybara 320's (if Delora CapyLink agent program is installed on each controlling Mac)
