IT Toolbox is a simple to use, yet very powerful network troubleshooting tool, designed for the IT network professional. With IT Toolbox, the IT professional will gain access to four of the most popular network troubleshooting tools available in a unique mobile package.
Included are full featured:
Ping, NSlookup, Port scan, and Traceroute,
along with the ever popular Mac Search, which provides a complete and comprehensive bi-directional cross reference database of Mac Address to Vendor and Port # to Service data.
Features:
All utilities are available through an intuitive toolbar interface via a 3G and/or Wi-Fi connection
- Ping allows for parameter arguments, such as number of requests and packet size
- NSlookup queries the default domain name server for DNS information
- Portscan helps indentify open ports on your network, a great security tool
- Traceroute helps identify connectivity and routing issues on a network
- Mac Search provides a bi-directional cross reference of manufacturer to NIC cards
- Port Search provides a bi-directional cross reference of Port # to services known as IANA TCP/UDP port and assigned function.
