The Edwards Lifesciences Critical Care Learning app provides a ready reference for hemodynamic monitoring and oxygenation assessment of the high-risk surgery and critically ill patient. The app features the Quick Guide to Cardiopulmonary Care, containing anatomy and physiology, basic monitoring concepts, advanced minimally invasive monitoring, Swan-Ganz catheters, and a variety of Quick Reference guides.

Also included are product animations and user guides for the following Edwards Lifesciences hemodynamic monitoring products:
• FloTrac Sensor
• PreSep Oximetry Catheter
• TruWave Transducer
• VAMP Systems

The PediaSat animation found in the previous version of the app will be featured in a dedicated Pediatric Learning App launching soon in the App Store.

In this update, you will find new VAMP System and TruWave Transducer animations. We have also improved the initial download experience of the app. Prior to this update, downloading the app required an internet connection whereas now, you can download via a 3G or better data connection (standard data rates will apply).

**Note to users of the previous version of the app**

Once the app is updated on your device, you will need to download the animations that were previously available in the app. Please follow these steps in order to download the animations:

- Step 1: Go to “Product Animations & User Guides”
- Step 2: Tap on the animations you wish to download
- Step 3: A “download wheel” will appear indicating that the download has begun

Once the download wheel disappears, the animation is ready to view. An internet connection is recommended, however you can also download via your device’s data plan (standard data rates will apply).
