A complete travel guide of Santorini island.
Beaches, attractions, museums, architecture, churches and monasteries, manners and customs of Santorini are provided , giving visitors the opportunity to learn in depth about this beautiful island.
The application “Santorini guide” is a unique virtual tour that offers a comprehensive tour of the island by browsing the map or browse by exhibit. It is a tour based on reports of archaeologists, tour guides and historical books about Santorini.
The application includes 45 places of interest as explained in the texts.
The application is offline, so the user can download the application in his/her mobile phone and use it afterwards without being connected to internet.
Two major sections are presented:
1.Leisure - Sights
2.Culture - History
The first section includes the beaches, attractions and nearby islands.
The second, refers to the museums, churches and culture of the island.
All points are shown on maps and by pressing the corresponding symbol you are transported directly to a photo of the site and the text that follows.
You can stop and continue the tour whenever you want to follow the suggested route map or make your own. Also you can read as many times as you want to the description of each exhibit before or after your visit thus giving you the opportunity to share the points you found interesting with your friends.
