Not only will the Speak, Piggy! app by A Modern Eden keep your little one busy, it will help her learn animal names, how to spell them, the sounds they make, and the different habitats where they live. Did we mention it’s really pretty? Designed with style in mind, Speak, Piggy! will also give your child a lesson in aesthetics.
Created by a team with their own young children and educational experience, Speak, Piggy! was developed to match the learning and usability patterns of children. Switching between animals is intuitive and fun––a slide of the finger does the trick. There’s also a special setting for littler ones to simply shake the iPhone when they want to mooo-ve on to another animal.
Speak, Piggy! has something for everyone: babies will like the colorful pictures, toddlers will enjoy connecting sounds with animals, preschoolers will improve sight reading for early literacy development, and you’ll love the classic design and correct pronunciations.
Your child will learn the names and noises of 25 different animals:
- Around the House: cat, bee, dog, frog, goldfish, mouse
- Around the Farm: cow, duck, goose, horse, owl, pig, rooster, sheep
- Around the World: dolphin, elephant, lion, monkey, snake
- Around the Poles: penguin, seal, polar bear, walrus, narwhal, orca
