The Welcome to Yorkshire iPhone App
The delights of Yorkshire are now available on your iPhone! Download the free Welcome to Yorkshire iPhone App today and start browsing all of the wonderful sights, attractions and things to do that Yorkshire has to offer. This handy App allows you to search the fantastic activities and events going on in Yorkshire. Whether you are looking for a quick solution for something to do with the family this weekend, or a place to take someone special, you can use the App to search within a 5, 10, 15 or 30 mile radius of where you are located.
The App allows you to browse Yorkshire’s extensive itinerary of tourist attractions, leisure activities and places to eat and build up your own list of favourite things to do. Once you have found something exciting you can pin point its location using the Google Maps tool that is integrated with the App. Use the ‘What’s On’ feature of the App to keep up to date with all the latest major events and festivals going on in Yorkshire.
Browse the App to find ‘Ten of the Best’ things to do and find out more about the key sights, museums and galleries that are in Yorkshire. The App handily utilises a weather feed so if it’s a glorious sunny day here in Yorkshire you can browse our wonderful outdoors attractions, parks and nature reserves. Not such a warm and sunny day? There are plenty of indoor things to do, everything from the wealth of Yorkshire art galleries and activity centres to some serious shopping in the Victoria Quarter Leeds.
