To chat with Alice is simple. Just enter your text into the text field, which is located above the chat text area. Enter text and press the return key. Alice will respond to you and there you have it: The start for a nice converstaion.

iAlice as an adaptation of Joseph Weizenbaum's ELIZA program, in which the various selection, substitution, and phrase storage mechanisms have been enhanced and generalised to increase both its flexibility and its potential adaptability. The main idea is to try to mimic a real person as good as possible. Thats a really though task, but still I am quite happy with how iAlice performs and her database and algorithms are improving all the time.
- Chat intuitively. Really simple user interface.
- Chat anytime. Alice is allways available for a chat.
- Chat anything. Alice can take it.
- Chat to a psychologist.
Chatting with Alice can sometimes be thought of as chatting to a psychologist. The reason for this is that iAlice is an adaptation of Joseph Weizenbaum's ELIZA program (DOCTOR mode) that incorporates a technique amongst others to rephrase the users input to questions.
