Winds Of The Wastelands - Films4Phones
This 1936 film starring John Wayne cast him as a Pony Express rider, who is coming to the end of his days due to the phasing out of the service and him being to heavy. Both Wayne and his pal decided to try to run a small stagecoach service and enter a race to win a government mail delivery service, but go up against a competitor who is willing to use any means to win.

Director - Mack V. Wright - With around 27 director credits on IMDB including - The Lone Ranger, Masked, and Robinson Crusoe of Clipper Island. Plus 86 assistant director credits on IMDB, which included films such as - Tarzan and the Golden Lion, South of the Rio Grande, The Avenger, and many more.
John Wayne - born Marion Morrison, began a football scholarship in 1925-1927 at USC, his friend Tom Mix, got Wayne a summer job as a prop man during the summer in exchange for football tickets. During his summer job he became good friends with director, John Ford, and as a result was often cast doing bit parts. Somewhere along the way he decided he would stay with film and his first feature was ‘Men Without Women’. During his career he went onto star in nearly 250 movies. Wayne’s health was far from great and from September 1964 onwards he underwent surgery to have a cancerous lung removed, a heart valve replacement, and in January 1979 his stomach was removed. John Wayne later died on 11 June, 1979 of lung and stomach cancer.
