Nights Until Christmas

A simple application which displays the number of nights until the next Christmas morning, intended to provide an easily accessed countdown lest you should lose track.

For the purposes of this application, Christmas is considered to be 5:00 AM on December 25th. Just in time to check for presents, try to wake everybody else up, AND see the sunrise.

The cute snowman that is displayed along with the count is the glyph for Unicode character U+2603 in the DejaVu Sans typeface. It does not change with season or climate or holiday or anything fancy, and is completely seasonally inappropriate for an entire hemisphere.
