The Apollo 11 photoclock by Alexis von Croy and Johann Huguenin
This application turns your iPhone in a clock together with a digital photoframe.
On July 20th 1969 men first set foot on then moon.
Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first two human beeings to set a foot on land outside the planet earth while their comrade Michael Collins circled the moon in the mothership and waited for their safe return.
From the archives of NASA (all images copyright: NASA) we present you 500 of the best images made of that historic mission.
Most of these images can be download for free from various NASA servers in high resolution. All the images on the moon were made on film with a special version of the famous Hasselblad camera.
