Tweet Lightning is a micro Twitter application. It does one thing, and one thing only: it allows you to post to your twitter stream with the minimum of fuss, and the minimum of data traffic.
** note: this application is not available in the US AppStore, due to potential patent issues. **
Tweet Lightning is designed for situations where you have minimal bandwidth, maybe at a conference or when you are out of 3G coverage - or where data traffic is very expensive, eg when roaming. It gives you a better chance of getting your message out, and getting on with your day.
Note: It does not read your twitter stream, or look up your followers, or anything else except post to your twitter stream. If you are roaming outside of your home country, you will (most likely) incur data charges if you use this application.

Minor changes to status dialogs (ie, progress when you post something).
Changes to how the interactions work when authenticating with Twitter.
General image cleanup for Retina Display - now uses high-res images where available. Built against iOS4 and supports application switching. Still works on iOS3.x.
