OttO - The Amazing Live Voice Reversal and FX Gizmo

What's OttO saying? He's repeating your words backwards, LIVE as you speak. Just mutter something into the mic and hear your words back in reverse. Slow it down, speed it up, or turn it all around. Add a bit of modulation, a bit of delay and a touch of filter to make it sound like something from the beyond. Record it all and save, if you like. And the best part, do all this as you go!

OttO is a live voice alteration and audio FX gadget designed to take the mundane and create something totally weird and fun with it. It gives you two modes to work with: "Reverse" and "Normal."

In the "Reverse" mode, OttO uses our special new live audio reversal algorithm to flip sounds backwards. In this mode, your speech will be repeated back to you in reverse for a bone chilling effect. For added weirdness, you can pronounce words in backwards, and hear them returned to you in the correct direction. Or use OttO with your favorite musical instrument to create melodies that go in the opposite direction of time.

In both the Reverse and the Normal modes, OttO additionally gives you a number of live audio effects to further manipulate sounds. Using the pitch/modulation matrix, you can change the pitch of your voice on the go. You can literally add "spring" to your voice by tearing up the modulation! Comes in handy when mimicking deep supervillian voices, or the timeless sounds of a certain famous vermin trio.

Use the stereo delay to add space and depth to your voice, or to obtain ping-pong repeats that border on psychedelia.

OttO also comes with a specially designed resonant filter. The filter offers you three modes: LPF (Low-Pass), HPF (Hi-Pass) and "Band" (Band-Pass). Via its dedicated matrix control, you can change the timber and frequency focus of your voice. Use the filter to make your voice sound like its coming from a dictaphone or from a megaphone, and more.

Last but not least, OttO comes built-in with a very easy to use recording framework to save your weird creations. Just press "Rec" to start recording, and press "Stop" when done. If you'd like to save it, press Save and enter a name! Using your local Wi-Fi connection, you can speedily transfer all your audio files to your computer.

Note: Headphones with built-in microphone are highly recommended for iPod Touch 2G/3G users (iPod Touch users also note that iPod Touch does not have a built in microphone).
