Tawag Pinoy is an addressbook app specially made for Filipinos and all iPhone users in the Philippines.

Tawag Pinoy app will automatically filter and sort your addressbook contacts into the three major networks (Globe, SMART, SUN) and landlines. You'll be able to view and search your contacts on a per network basis. This is most useful for those who have unlimited in-network call plans. It can also save you money when you call your contacts since you can instantly find out if the person has a number within your own network.

Tawag Pinoy now comes with a powerful T9 keypad search engine which searches your contacts' names, companies, and numbers. You can quickly call or send an SMS to your T9 search results or to the number you used as a T9 search term. You can also do a straight call using the T9 keypad.

Tawag Pinoy also allows you to browse thru your contacts with a touch of a button. Compare this with how you browse your contacts now on the default app and you'll see the big difference it makes when you are trying to look for a contact. Go to your next / previous contact, edit, or delete a contact with a simple button tap.

For Globe subscribers, Tawag Pinoy gives you the ability to make special calls without having to memorize the calling prefixes needed. Special calls are done with a touch of a button, the app will be the one to add the calling prefix for you. Tawag Pinoy version 1.3 comes with Per Pulse, P10/3min call, and P20/20 minute call options for Globe subscribers. You can also Share-A-Load and send via GCash easily. SUN subscribers can also call per pulse with a simple button tap. Special call promos which telcos might offer in the future will be added via app updates.

Developer Note: I found a crash bug which happens when editing members of groups. Quick fix is to turn ON "Picture in Favorites" in Settings. This will cause the crash to not occur. Will fix this bug in next update coming very soon.
