ABC Shakedown is a Reading Readiness Program using digital flashcards with easy prompts and a cool "shake" feature.
Finally, an educational app that is truly educational! ABC Shakedown is the first in a new series of educational apps brought to you by i-Itch inc. This introduction app teaches the sound-symbol correspondence of each letter of the alphabet in a 21st century way.
Letters are viewed in a slideshow format with user friendly prompts to shake your way from A to Z. The game is based on a tried and true, educationally sound technique of seeing each letter of the alphabet while hearing the corresponding sound each letter makes. Your child will be getting their first experience in Reading Readiness right from your iPhone!
What really sets this app apart from the others, is that all the sounds are enunciated, articulated and properly spoken with guidance from a speech pathologist.
(Perfect for the reluctant, challenged, or struggling reader, and proven successful with the special needs population and ESL learners.)
