THE BEGINNING SOCCER PROGRAM THE I PHONE VERSION is a valuable source for the beginning soccer coach, player and parent, as well as an excellent reference for soccer aficionados at all levels of the beautiful game. Crammed with skills, drills, ball exercises, small sided games, game preparation exercises and full of soccer tips and knowledge, the program offers a framework for coaches to advance their player’s soccer SKILLS, UNDERSTANDING and FEEL for the game.
The suggested practice schedule is the GUTS of the PROGRAM, enabling players to practice the game’s basic skills at EVERY PRACTICE (through MULTIPLE TOUCHES) before advancing to the playing aspects of the game, where the use of basic skills is essential. The drills, when used in association with THE BEGINNING SOCCER SKILLS DIAGRAMS, will prove of particular help in building player recognition of these skills and their technical improvement.
