Count down the days to Christmas with this Apollo 11 advent calendar. Every day in December, open a window to a great photo from the famous Apollo lunar mission. All the images are from the NASA project that put the first man on the moon back in 1969.
This app has a window for each day in December, and on the day you can open and view the space picture behind the window.

There are 24 different photographs, each featuring an informative caption including:
* The launch of the Saturn V rocket that took the astronauts into space
* The Earth taken from a distance of 158,000km only 11 minutes after launch
* Photos of the astronauts on the lunar surface
* Photos of the Lunar Module and the Command Module
And, there is a special surprise on December 24th!
