GPSmeter is an app for GPS routes, measurments, for car drivers, pilots, bikers, runner, golfers etc. or for every one who likes GPS technology!

Whether measuring your golf drives, watching your running- or biking sessions, the route length to you work or whatever. Everythings no problem!

With GPSmeter you can measure short and long distances (beeline or routelength), altitude differences, timespans, average values, min-max-values and many more!

GPSmeter uses the iPhone integrated GPS receiver. Futhermore, it makes use of special algorithms to improve accuracy and to come up with optimal results!

GPSmeter does not bring you any fancy optical knick-knack, but puts value on accuracy, reliability and easy usability.

And finally, use GPSmeter as a realtime high precision GPS logger for your outdoor tours! It runs in background (with iOS 4 only).

For track visualization, GPSmeter comes with a map view (by Google).

Furthermore, the you can send all data via email (GPX, KML and Raw CSV), so you can use any other program to evaluate metering data.

Accuracy information:

Please keep in mind, GPSmeter uses the internal iPhone GPS receiver, so the app is only as accurate as it gets GPS data.
So: Please try to get best sky sight. So then, accuracy is below 10 meters.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
