When creating a new note from scratch you can now take a picture with your iPhone or use an existing one from your library. You can also size and crop this image.

If you are in a hurry, or just like to hear the sound of your own voice, you can now record audio notes along with your tasting note and play them back later.

ScotchHunter.com is a comprehensive site devoted to finding and tasting the finest single malts. Scotch Hunter is one of the best Single Malt sites providing single malt scotch tasting notes, distillery information, nosing and tasting tips, single malt terms, as well a a detailed listing of our personal favorite single malt whiskeys. This app provides its user with a basic introduction to the world of the single malt. Once this orientation is complete, develop your own tasting skills and visit our tasting notes. Then begin your own quest to find the perfect single malt.
Which malt is best? Some are clearly more characterful than others, but they also vary in dryness and sweetness, fullness and lightness, crispness and roundness, assertiveness and elegance; in nose, body, palate and finish. A light, dry, aromatic malt may be better before dinner; a fuller, sweeter, rounder one afterwards. A soft malt may be a restorative after a walk; a heavier, smokier one might be better at bedtime.
As of this release, we have sampled 260 different single malts from 124 different distilleries.

I've tried the other scotch apps on here and all of them lack what ScotchHunter brings to the table. Love the interface and the easy to navigate tasting notes. I've emailed the creator of the app and he is very welcoming to app suggestions and bug fixes. I like the fact that he is determined to maintain and keep this the best Scotch app available. If you are a scotch drinker or thinking about becoming one, this app is well worth the money.
