FlightTimers

Tired of jotting down or remembering all those numbers when you started taxiing, took off etc?

FlightTimers launches in the blink of an eye and lets you quickly save the blocks off, airborne, touchdown and blocks on times.

The sole purpose of this app is to provide a very quick and efficient way to save times for your current flight and to make your life a lot easier when entering that flight into you log book later on.

Forgot to start a timer? Don't worry. You can set any of the four timestamps -5, -2, +2 or +5 minutes from the current time. So if you already started taxiing a moment ago and forgot to open FlightTimers, just tap the "-2" or "-5" button under "Blocks off" and you are all set!

FlightTimers can be used by anyone! It doesn't matter if you are a pilot or just an aviation enthusiast, many passengers of commercial flights log when and where they have flown and this app can help you keep track of those times too!

FlightTimers will automatically detect your regional preferences and display date and time correctly for your region as set in the iPhone/iPod Touch settings. All references to time will be in UTC.

Please remember: Aviate, Navigate, Communicate. Use this app only when you deem it is safe to do so and not in critical phases of the flight. Or even better, let a friend operate it when not flying solo. Always follow the applicable laws and regulations and use the airplane mode when you are required to do so.

Note that the total time displayed on the bottom does not count up as the flight progresses. This is by design. Only when you tap the "Touchdown" and "Blocks on" buttons are the total times calculated and displayed!
