Experience the brand new El Conquistador FM Radio from Chile on your iPhone, powered by 50 years of broadcast history in easy listening and exclusive music.
The audio stream is now encoded in HE-AAC v2. What does that means? Extremely high audio quality with very low bitrate and bandwidth usage (48 kbps). However, it now requieres a little bit of help from the hardware: only the ARMv7 based devices (as of now: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3rd gen and iPad) running iOS 4 can enjoy it at full stereo quality. All previous devices and OS versions will still be able to decode the stream but at a reduced quality in mono only.
