"Show Me" button gives detailed step by step instructions on how to do a fraction addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. Enter your fractions and press "Show Me" and have "Just Fractions" guide you through each process of the calculation.
Add, multiply, subtract and divide fractions.
Perform above calculations with whole number or mixed fractions.
Calculates accurately for positive and negative fractions.
Reduce answer to proper fractions
Find Least Common Denominator when adding and subtracting fractions.
This application is indeed entirely the idea of my eleven year old son. He thought this program might be useful to aid similar age children in learning how to add, multiply, subtract and divide fractions. He designed the layout and wrote many of the functions.

Also try "Math Seeq" from Smiley Cat Software. Math Seeq is a fun way to learn about mathematical sequences and series. In a game format, you select the next number in a sequence. You can practice your times tables, the beginner levels of Math Seeq has 9 levels, giving you all the multiples of 1 through 9. Higher levels give you complex sequences such as powers of 2, primes and even the Fibonacci sequence. "Math Seeq lite" allows you to try the app before purchasing with 5 levels of sequences to play.
