Acuity & Color Blindness
Ever wanted to check how accurate is your vision? Want to know more about color blindness and whether you are part of the 5-8 % of the population that are color blind in some way or another? Can you see any colors or only a few? Acuity Color Blindness is a game mixed with a visual test. Easy to use for you, your children, your friends!
• How does it work?
Acuity features two series of tests: one is about visual acuity, the other one is about color blindness.
• Visual acuity for anyone, anytime
The visual acuity serie of tests is so easy to use: handle the iPhone as far as your can from your eyes, and start. You will be guided to test each of your eyes, then both of them. If you want, you can shorten the distance to make another try. Don't forget to remove your glasses if any, and don't cheat!
• The official color blindness test from Dr Ishihara in your iPhone
Dr Ishihara, in 1917, published his tests while he was a professor at the University of Tokyo. Acuity features the exact 24 'Ishihara plates' to help you determine whether you are color blind in any way. You might get surprised...
• Is Acuity accurate as a proven medical test?
No it is not. Acuity will not replace your optician or a specialist, though the tests have been approved by a specialist to be helpful. Say you got bad results at the tests, the advise is to get an appointment and check.
• What if you need support? What if you want more features?
