Topos2Go allows you to view and locate your position on topographic maps. You can download freely available maps and store them on your device for use without WiFi or cell access. To try before you buy see Topos2Go Free.

Topos2Go was developed with backcountry hiking and backpacking in mind. Unlike mapping apps that simply cache map data, Topos2Go gives you full control over the maps that are stored on your device. You select the maps you want on your device and they stay there until you delete them. You have no worries about whether or not your cached data will still be there when you look for it in the backcountry.

Map Compatibility: Currently, Topos2Go supports maps in GeoTIFF format with UTM and Albers Equal-Area Conic projections. If there is an unsupported GeoTIFF map you wish to use, please contact support@cynicsoftware.com and request its inclusion.
