EPHEMERA is a conversation with the past, and an invitation to listen. Five of Newfoundland's finest writers engage with artwork of the Bonavista Biennale, producing stunning interactive audio works that are experienced on location.
• On the Bonavista Peninsula, the app triggers automatically by GPS when you walk or drive to different locations where Biennale artworks have been installed. Sounds and voices whisper in your ear at each location, while your smartphone shows photographs of the artwork.
• Includes a map of the Peninsula showing the interactive artwork locations.
• Using the app is super-simple. Just download it and visit the 2021 Bonavista Biennale!
(After the 2021 Biennale (Fall 2021) you'll also be able to take a virtual walk remotely, by tapping the different locations on your smartphone screen map).
