The Modest Tree Tech Companion App introduces a technologically advanced and integrated way to build your digital database. Combining AR object tracking with an advanced image categorizer, this application will allow you to build an integrated and intelligent database of the assets you encounter during your maintenance and operational processes.
Key application features:
Image Categorization - The Tech Companion app offers a sophisticated and streamlined approach to image categorization. Technicians use image markup capabilities to log problems, imperfections, and damage to any object. The app then applies Tensorflow AI and advanced machine learning to allow the object to be recognized in its various states (object recognition), but also to add these categorized images to an integrated database. The image categorizer will review the image database categorizations and begin to apply machine learning to learn how to appropriately categorize an image, and this will contribute to the future ability for faults to be recognized and troubleshot using the application’s predictive AI.
AR Object Tracking - The Tech Companion app also offers AR object tracking capabilities, which will enable the application to identify the equipment being serviced. The AR object tracking feature allows users to record 3D objects and export them as AR objects into the Modest Tree Portal, where they can then be imported into Xplorer and Editor during the creation of XR presentations and training lessons. In the future, this will also allow the recorded object to be tracked in real-world time.
The Tech Companion app allows users to scan and capture objects, automatically building them into the appropriate database. As the database grows, the application will gradually be able to recognize objects. The more images of an object that are captured and identified in its different states and positions, the better able the app will be to detect and categorize the object correctly.
Where will this technology lead? To a new future of automated AI support and troubleshooting, led by predictive maintenance, integrated analysis, and automatic fault recognition.
