Nautical Tutorial 3D is the innovative nautical application that aims to form the indispensable cultural background for future pleasure sailors and the valuable insight for captains from all over the world.
A series of detailed 3D video lessons describe all the fundamental principles of navigation at sea and in inland waters.
The video lessons are divided into two groups: COLREG and NAVIGATION + IALA
COLREG:
• Introduction and guidelines
• Rules on precedence
• On-board lights and light ranges
• Position and Service Signals
• Ship with limited maneuverability, Ship conditioned by its own draught and Pilot Ship
• Fishing ship
• Tug and towed ship
• Minesweeper, Seaplane, Hovercraft and Ship at anchor
• Acoustic signals: Maneuver and Overtaking
• Acoustic signals: Fog
The International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (also known as COLREG, COLREGs, RIPA or RIPAM) is a multilateral agreement that establishes the rules of conduct during navigation.
Navigation + IALA:
• Surveys
• Bearing compass
• Read and interpret the findings
• Graphometer
• Ship point
• Converging routes
• Boe and Mede
• Cardinal Buoys and Mede
The IALA international maritime system is a signaling system that with buoys and beacons signals navigable canals, natural hazards and other obstacles, safe waters and areas and situations of particular interest.
