Roadtrip Music Player is a music player that focuses on 3 things:
- Quick / Remote Control over what is playing back
- *Multiple genres* per song; find and browse better!
- Reliable offline; Play only what's on the device
In this hyper-connected world of always on, always connected devices, are you retro like me and just want a device that plays your music and isn't constantly trying to push you into a cloud of data and subscriptions?
Have you ever just wanted to go for a Sunday drive, with an app that does a good job of showcasing your hard work in managing your Music Library?
This app solves problems: you're on a Roadtrip and you don't have access to the internet. You don't want to try to play a song that isn't on your device. You think it's on your device, then you go to play it only to discover you have to stream or download it, and you're not online. If only you had known; perhaps you would have made sure it was there before your trip began.
Roadtrip Music Player is perhaps your best bet. Designed to require almost no physical interaction, can also be controlled by the controls on your car's steering wheel, the app was designed with roadtrippers, vanlifers, and other music lovers who spend time curating their Music Library, in mind.
This app is also for those who lament that someone designed digital music tags to assign only one genre per song. Does that make sense? Most songs can belong to many categories, so why don't they? This App can leverage multiple genres per song, if you are such a conscientious person and have organized your music library to assign multiple genres per song via a delimiter. This is all a bit techy for now, so you can discover more in the app.
Create playlists if you need to, but most likely with the advances in multiple-genre-songs, you may find that "semi-automatic shuffle mode" will provide you with a great listening experience.
