Crowded streets, traffic jams, searching for a parking spot or a missed train connection: commuting into Berlin can be stressful. With BerlKönig BC you now have a comfortable alternative. BerlKönig BC is a new, flexible shuttle bus by the BVG operating in the outskirts of Berlin.

The route connects Schulzendorf as well as parts of Waltersdorf and Zeuthen (in Dahme-Spreewald) with public transit in Berlin (U Rudow, S Flughafen BER Terminal 5, S Eichwalde) Mondays to Fridays during the commuting hours. From there you can reach the city quickly by train or bus.

A trip costs 50 cents in addition to a valid VBB/BVG ticket. Thanks to the extensive network of virtual stops, BerlKönig BC stops almost at your doorstep. This means you can now leave your personal vehicle at home during the week - not only protecting your nerves but also the environment.

And this is how BerlKönig BC works:

Download and register the app:
Download the BerlKönig BC app on your smartphone

Register with your phone number and email address and choose a payment method

Pre-booking rides:
Select your pick-up and drop-off location; please note that your trip needs to either start or end at the underground or S-Bahn station

Select your desired time slot for pick-up or arrival

You will receive a confirmation for your pre-booking – your ride is confirmed

Pick-up:
30 minutes before your pick-up, you receive a text message including your exact pick-up time and location close to your front door

You can also track the approaching vehicle in the app

Head to your pickup location, BerlKönig BC will meet you there and off you go!

Paying for rides:
The cost per trip is always 50 cents and will be charged to your payment method or in cash when you start your ride

In addition, you need to hold a valid BVG ticket when you start your ride; if you do not have one, you can purchase it from our driver or through the BVG Ticketing app

With BerlKönig BC, we efficiently bundle trip requests from several passengers between the underground or S-Bahn stations and the service area. In this way, we bring each passenger efficiently to their destination while reducing detours and congestion. This is good for the environment and for your nerves – thanks to BerlKönig BC you can leave your personal car at home.
