FritzBox Router owners, you've now got a new powerful WiFi control and monitor app, Pause internet, schedule bedtime downtime, block apps, see active devices on your wifi, and more..
This app is a great utility for you to monitor and control your router/home network with ease.

Dashboard provides easy access to key app features:
• Smart Parental Controls. Easily manage your family internet time. Very handy for getting homework and chores done and rewarding WiFi.
• Pause/Block Internet. One press pause the Internet on any device or group of devices.
• Setup Internet Time Schedules per device or person, that restricts internet access at set times ideal for bedtime restrictions agreed with kids.
• Block distracting Apps from your network when needing productivity.
• Set Always Allowed devices that never get paused/blocked.
• Share your WiFi credentials with guests, for easy access. No need to remember your complex WiFi passwords.
• Devices : Monitor all devices connected to your router (Active/All/Blocked filters), Status info, Wired/Wireless types, Blocked/Active status, Drill down and get detailed device info from MAC Address, IP Address, Device Manufacturer info, status.
• Group devices by people for more efficient management of your network.
• Easy switch between Unrestricted, Blocked or Scheduled internet access for any device or group.
• Share and send the kids 45 minute time codes the kids can enter in their device web browser to allow internet access extension when their internet is blocked, providing easy WiFi rewards for getting chores and homework completed.
• Use the Active devices to check all your family devices are switched off when they're suppose to be, saving energy/money. A modern games console left running in a kids room for a year will cost around the same price as a console or equivalent in electricity! We catch our daughter burning our money leaving hers on all the time, and by using this app we can see all their devices on in their bedrooms.
• Guest WiFi toggle .. switch on off your guest WiFi with a single button toggle

NOTEs:
1) App Blocking is tied to schedules, so devices that are not assigned to a schedule with blacklist URLs will not be blocked from blocked apps/blacklist urls. You could manually set the standard schedule profiles to include URL blacklists if you want blocking apps always regardless.
2) Schedule granularity for the weekly schedule grid is 1 hour in app, 15 minutes on the router. You can setup schedules on the router through web page and use these within the app if 15 minute granularity or hour based limits per day is required.
3) Note for sharing guest network, after you enable Guest network, you may need to refresh the WiFi credentials page to pickup the newly enabled Guest network credentials.
