As soon as you arrive at the first tee at Taboo, you understand what makes this golf course and Muskoka a must play destination.
The rugged and vibrant Canadian Shield landscape is a big part of what makes golf here truly special, including graceful white pines, mature red oaks and bold and pink granite outcroppings. Golf at Taboo however is about far more than the 300 acres of dramatic forest scenery found along this par 71 Ron Garl designed championship course. Here at Taboo, 15-minute tee time intervals create that feeling of private club play surrounded by all the facilities of an extensive public resort. Taboo golf now includes unlimited day-of-round play. Detailed personal attention to our guests and our course conditions are a constant priority.
The all new par 3 challenge hole at the Taboo Golf Course has become a huge hit! Open from dawn to dusk, (and beyond if needed), the par challenge 3 hole is a perfect location for family and friends to gather and enjoy a drink while competing for whom can hit it the closest to the pin.
