Kia ora! NZ On Air and Gamefroot have created HEIHEI Games - a safe online space for our tamariki to play quality, age-appropriate games.
HEIHEI delivers amazing kids games for free and without any adverts or in app purchases. We believe that children should have access to media which entertains, educates and stimulates them and which allows them to develop to their fullest potential.
Filled with locally made games that reflect Aotearoa and our stories and faces, kids will use their imagination and embrace creativity! Learn, enjoy, grow — that’s the HEIHEI way.
On HEIHEI you can play games and download safe game apps, as well as connect to HEIHEI shows on TVNZ OnDemand.
HEIHEI is designed for children and led by child-centred thinking.

This current updated version of the HEIHEI app has been rebuilt to run faster and to make finding games easier.
We have added links to child friendly TVNZ on demand website that includes the TV shows for the games. A parental gate is in place before linking out to TVNZ OnDemand.
