Each term, Perform for 7-12s puts together a specially written show with original music, choreography and lots of funny scenes to enjoy.
This term, superhero Hercules is on a quest to inspire the ancient Greeks to take a break from eating, drinking and philosophising...and get dancing.
Up on Mount Olympus, the Gods are worried. The mortals on Earth have forgotten how to move and groove. Hercules is sent to capture the nation with his fancy footwork and amazing voice. But, on the eve of the referendum, will the masses vote for their feet or stay slumped on the sofas? With hilarious scenes, rocking songs and dazzling dancing, The Hercules Beat is a jivetastic show for 7-12s.
This app is the ideal companion to the show. It contains a complete copy of the script (best viewed on iPad), special walk-through videos of the songs and dance moves to help you perfect your performances and full production films of professional actors performing the musical numbers. Plus, new for this app, a Recording Studio that allows children to record takes of themselves performing the songs and play them back to perfect their performances.
