GeoFrog : Learn Countries

GeoFrog is a simple 3D interactive self-led game for learning country names, locations, shapes, capital cities and national flags.

It provides a fun, intuitive and educational experience by engaging with children’s natural curiosity for games, space, and frogs. It assist with building a greater spatial awareness earlier in their life upon which they can place future knowledge about culture, economics and the natural world.

….it’s also fun for adults! Test yourself and see how much you thought you knew!

The game is designed on principles of ‘slow gaming’ where players are rewarded through a sense of achievement in gathering knowledge over a longer self-led-play cycle, rather than a short term dopamine rush.

Each country has a help button to assist in finding its location. Spatial references such as continent, hemisphere and neighbouring countries are provided to encourage the player to search for its location.

Effort has been made to include as many countries as possible, there are 224! However a number of very small countries haven't been included for now. Likewise care was taken in the creation of the map however it is purposely a simplified.

GeoFrog does not collect or store any personal information. It does not access, or require permissions to access, any features on your device such as camera or media. It does not contain any in-app purchases or advertising. The game is entirely stand alone and does not require a Wi-fi connection to be played.

GeoFrog is recommended for tablets, 9.7" or above.

It works fine on 7" tablets however the country statistics are cropped in Help panel. We are currently resolving this and will release an update shortly.
