If you are travelling a short or long distance, there is a CITY Taxi for your every need. CITY Taxis is the second largest taxi company outside of London & operates 2,000 cars across Sheffield, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Derby & Rotherham.
In just a few taps you can book a journey on the app. There are many features within the app to help you along the way and improve your experience, including:
Choose various options of vehicle including 6 seat vehicles & executive cars
Split your fare with other riiders or anyone who may want to contribute
Rewards will be sent to you from various outlets on completion of your journey
Track your driver right to your door
Choose a vehicle with accessibility features
Pay by cash or card
Store favourite locations
See, message or call your driver
Get a journey quote before booking
CITY TAXIS DO NOT OPERATE A “SURGE” PRICING POLICY
How to use the app:
Click on the CITY icon & open your app
The app will locate you by GPS, enter your destination and you will be given a quote for the journey
When your taxi has been allocated we will send you full details of the vehicle including a picture of the driver, then track him to your door
Payment can be made by cash or card – multiple cards can be stored for business & personal use
Travelling with a friend? During the journey, you can use the app to split the fare
On completion of your journey there is a 5 Star rating system. We appreciate your feedback and use this to improve #TeamCity
