The main character is a student in the woods. The game provides a reading role-model, an opportunity to rehearse a short script, and a chance to listen and watch your own cartoon.

The drawing activities are a fun forum for visualizing, exploring background knowledge, and making connections between life and the text. The drawing activities also provide an opportunity to make inferences about the character and plot.
Hollywood Groove voice-over adventures follow the guidelines for reading fluency training provided by the National Reading Panel.
