The goal is to create and act out a short, humorous phone conversation between two characters. The players are presented with a person or place to call. Players strive to perform an interesting conversation with problems, twists, and humor.

IMPROV HINTS:
Before they begin, players may take a moment to think about their characters and immerse in an imaginary setting. Then, the players hit the ACTION button to begin their scene. The story unfolds as each player offers ideas to build the plot. Players build an interesting plot by adding problems, twists, and humor. Humor can be found by exploring the unusual or exaggerated aspects of people, places, or things.

Each age group brings their own level of background knowledge and experience to the game. Older players can become role-models and encourage younger players.

THE GAME IS FLEXIBLE:
Most Hollywood Groove games are designed to be played in pairs. Yet, the games can be modified to suit larger groups, or even single players. Larger groups work together on the same game premise. Single players develop a monologue scene.
