Discount Buddy is an app that will help you find Discounts/Special in South African Retail Stores.
This app uses your current location to find stores within a calculated radius from you, the store listing will show how many items are on special per store, the distance from your current location in km.
When a store is selected, you will see all the discounts in a card with old price and Current discounted price.
You can add any interested product to favorites, share it with friends and family using any messaging app on your device i.e SMS and like your favorite product.
You can build up list of products you wish to purchase in favorites and redeem them when in store, this can serve as your shopping list.
We will maintain all products purchases through the app and categorise them by store. This will help maintain a historical purchases from the stores.
In the future, DiscountBuddy will push discounts/special to your phone when you are within certain kilometer radius of any Mall and with a shopping list, DiscountBuddy will tell you where your shopping basket will cost less.
At DiscountBuddy, we are hoping this app will save you money and the time spent walking around the Mall looking for the right discounts/specials by allowing you to make a shopping list while enjoying a meal at a restaurant and bringing awareness to product and services that will save you money.
