Wonders of Technology display both the great questions that have people to explore and the great technologies that have made those explorations possible. We begin on planet Earth, exploring the depths of the sea and the ever- changing atmosphere. Then, after our journeys carry us to the Moon and the planets, we explore the most distant reaches of the universe.

The discoveries we make there will lead us to many new questions and explorations. Those questions will carry us back to Earth, where we will visit a huge tunnel under the Alps. That is where scientists are using the world’s most advanced technologies to probe the smallest particles of matter. Surprisingly, what they find in those particles may answer some of those cosmic questions, including how the universe began and how it became what it is today.
