“Kidney Stone Scoring - Predicts SFR after PCNL" is a medical mobile app designed to help urologist to categorize kidney stone before performing percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) procedure. There are 2 scoring systems used in this app, namely STONE nephrolithometry score and the Guy’s stone score. In the STONE nephrolithometry scoring system, the higher the score is, the more complex the PCNL procedure will be. These parameters include stone size, tract length, hydronephrosis or obstruction, number of involved calyces, and stone density or essence (Hounsfield units, HU). The total STONE nephrolithometry score ranges from 5 to 13, with 13 representing the most complex percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and 5 representing the simplest percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). The STONE nephrolithometry score also successfully predicts stone-free status after PCNL surgery. “Kidney Stone Scoring - Predicts SFR after PCNL” also calculates the Guy’s stone score.
