PlanUp 4+

This has been great. I have been using it for 3 years now and it has been by far the best floor plan app I’ve ever used, however the latest update got rid of one of the best features of the app which is “edit curve” for curved walls. I do a lot of properties with curved walls and this has been my saving grace. Looks like I’m going to have to move on to a new app unless they undo this “fix”.

Hi there, unfortunately we had to remove this as a result to improvements to other area's of the software. We do intend to re-implement it but at the moment we don't have a time line on when it will be re-added, but we do hope in the coming months.

What would be helpful to us is examples where you need to edit the curve. In the UK it's really not that often you get a curved wall that isn't a standard curve (which you can still do, you just can't edit them). This was part of the reason we took it out.

I have used planup for years as it was a simple floor plan illustration tool. However it is repeatedly trying and failing to install on my iPad. Please fix asap

This app is horrible now. With every new update it gets worse. I’ll measure and map rooms and half of the time it’ll just delete rooms once I’m done. It crashes all the time. If there’s any angle that’s not a 90 degree angle, I’m sweating just waiting for it to crash and delete half of the plan again. I use this on an iPhone, an iPhone pro max, and an iPad and there’s no difference on any of them.

Regarding the frequent crashes you're experiencing, this is certainly unusual. Our software has an auto-recovery feature, so if a crash does happen, your plan should be intact when you reopen it. In regards to updates, we haven't actually done one an update since September 2021 so not quite sure what you are referring to with every new update. We have a brand new version due at the start of 2024 with hundreds of bug fixes and improvements.
